Camp Noronto
Noronto is a special place located in the heart of northern Ontario near Monetville. Set in a beautiful, pristine location on Lake Nipissing, the campground is a favourite spot for families and youth to come and share in the beauty of nature and in the stillness of God.
Noronto has been a part of the camping experience since 1958 and continues to provide an excellent retreat from the trials of the world, shared with sincere and concerned individuals who are always willing to reach out and share talents, strengths, and stories with those who are in need or distressed.
It is also a place where we come to meet friends we have made over the years.
Children who attended Noronto in their younger years have now taken on roles of responsibility to provide the same opportunity to others as the cycle continues.
Among the campground’s standout features is an A-frame tabernacle built of 50 foot timbers, which is among the most inspiring sacred structures built by members of Community of Christ in Canada.
